This is an inexpensive solution that we offer to clients that don’t have servers or can afford to wait until a server is recovered to access their data.

ContinuIT Advanced Backup Services is a complete backup and disaster recovery solution that is offered as an option to our clients. ContinuIT ABS is an image based backup that takes snapshots of your servers and desktops as often as 15 minutes and allows for easy restore to the same or different hardware (even to virtual machines). In the case of a server down situation, the images can be quickly mounted on a pre-configured virtual environment and make the server available in as little as 30 minutes. While the virtual environment takes the place of the damaged server, this can be repaired and or replaced. A final restore from the virtual server completes the recovery process, minimizing downtime.

To ensure disaster recovery, images are copied offsite every night, to our secure facility. This would allow us to make your server available over the internet and get your company up and running in the case of a major catastrophe.
